updating the resume, tooting my own horn
So it turns out that I won all these awards and nobody told me. Well, okay, not me... shows that I worked on.
Please note that I was the lighting designer for two of the "Best of the fringe" shows and one of the "Best new plays". You may be able to discern which productions I subtly speak of. I guess I know what I'm doing, after all.
Seattle Times Footlight Awards 2005
-Best of the fringe:
Waiting for Lefty (Capitol Hill Arts Center)
!!!Back of the Throat (Theater Schmeater)!!!
!!!The Memory of Water (Atlas Theatre)!!!
-Best new plays (who cares if it's a repeat-- I WON!!!):
!!!Back of the Throat by Yussef El Guindi (Theater Schmeater)!!!
-Solo shows to celebrate:
The Ugly American by Mike Daisey (ACT Theatre)
-Local treasure:
Book-It Repertory Theatre.
This rocks.
